Rear view mirror not working when turining on

Platform:PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
Summarize your bug Rear view mirror not working when switched on
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to settings then on-screen display rear view mirror
What happens when the bug occurs? Rear view mirror doesnt show on screen
What do you expect to see? Rear view mirror

    Had the same issue.

    Did you look in the OSD customisation settings? In my case the rear view mirror was hidden after I set hidden to no it worked.

    I could maybe live with many of the other bugs, temporarily, until patches emerge. But I now realise, in terms of close racing, that the bug preventing the virtual mirror makes the game totally unplayable. At least that is the case with a single monitor. Presumably those with triples are seeing the actual mirrors?

    @DavidJO911 OK, I was confused by other folks' resolution to this. I could not understand the use of the word "hidden". I go to OSD, and I simply have "virtual Mirror" near the bottom of the list, with the option of "<>OFF" or "<>ON". So I figured I must be missing something, and I get it now.......I took it that everyone referring to OSD was referring to "On Screen Display"
    So for anyone else, like me...
    Settings / OnScreen Display / OSD Configuration (second item down)
    Then key 7 to toggle through all the modules until "Mirror", and sure enough it's "hidden" by default, despite having turned it ON in the main menu...What's that all about?
    Anyway, finally I have a mirror :-)
