    Still after todays Patch the Sound is still buggy on PS5.

  • Silly EA. This sound issue has been in all of their heavy load multiplayer games and makes it so distorted.

    We have the same problem. And another problem is when i watch my friend drive his brakes lock up every time he brakes. The same thing happens when we fight on the track.

  • My co-op partner and I are having similar issues also. And it's basically 100% of the time for us. There are brief moments when there are no issues, but they are extremely rare.

    We have three very persistent issues and they occur whenever we're spectating each other, both in the in-garage onboard cam and the spectator mode when one of us is out of a session:

    1. The engine is stuck sounding like it is overrevving constantly when in high gears.
    2. The engine sounds like it hasn't shifted up, when the other player has.
    3. The tires are consistently locking up throughout the braking phase, in every single corner.

    This creates the illusion that the other player is failing to upshift early enough and that they slam the brakes on through every corner. However, to be clear, this is not even close to the reality of the situation: We live in the same apartment, so I've been able to observe these issues through the spectator cam, then walk into another room and see that the other player is indeed driving correctly and the audio sounds completely fine for them.

    The problem persists even with the latest patch 1.06

    @kklaani  We also still have the problem.

    @Tribladez @Tribladez: You are right. We have the same problem too

    @EA/Codemaster: Please fix the bugs!

  • We managed to capture both sides of this issue last night during FP1, at Spain, in co-op career. My co-op partner had retired due to car repairs, so we took the opportunity to capture clips and compare.

    I've edited the clips together, side-by-side, first showing what I was hearing (on the left), then repeating it but showing what my co-op partner was hearing (on the right).

    The video was too big to upload directly here, so I've uploaded it to youtube instead. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dtd4dmWvqv0

    @Tribladez - Thank you for your video!

    That's exactly what describes our problem as well.
