In real life there's a speed limit (Gasly has got a penalty in Suzuka this year for exceding it) and I didn't know it was in the game. Anyway, keeping your delta positive should avoid it, right?
At least offline, I don't use to play online.

I don't think so, it was not showing any warnings about the delta, I get warnings about the delta all the time and know them.
During this one, the screen was clear and then *boom*, drive through penalty out of the blue. Costed me 6+ positions in the race.
Really want to understand what happened so I don't make the same mistake again.
- @MagalhaVoa Sounds like a bug then as your didn't do anything wrong at all. I hear people complaining about the online part of the game all the time, seems to be really buggy.
