SSL connector error in F12022 PS4

Hey everyone,

The SSL error we were seeing with some games earlier this week has been resolved. Since the issue has recovered, I am going to lock this thread just to avoid confusion with other potential connection errors.

Same issue for me after buying FIFA 23. It starts the game and plays the intro bit but has this connection error when trying to load to the main menu. My internet is good and other games work including FIFA 21. Seems to be just this game for me.

@Dadassamo371 Strange one for sure. I bought through FIFA 21 as there was a good discount. Wondering if that's the issue and if it was the same for you?

  @kevtoon69 This was the problem. When you said that I realised that it didn't come up in the options. I signed in and tried again and this time it just worked with no problems going straight to the usual terms and conditions. Thanks

    can you please explain how you did this? Should I do this in the fifa on the ps or just on the ea website? Thanks!

@Dadassamo371 Login to ea sports using your playstation credentials then accept the terms and conditions and you should be able to open the game. You can do it through your phone.
