Straight line speed on different wings and ride height

Found several drivers to help with testing, thanks Keke, Roili and Puoliaslak!

The results are quite unexpected.

I thought there would be at least a some kind of curve affecting straight line speed when adjusting wings.

Instead, it's practically linear for both wings.

Also, I expected a lot more effect to rear wing but the slowing effect (or drag) is only 1,8x more compared to front wing.

Ride height comparison was super interesting. There is not that much effect on straight line speed, or there is but a lot less than expected.

I'd say you'd only gain max 2kph on certain track (concerning normal ride heights used on that track) and should instead ride low for better aero (not talking about the track characteristics or driving style now), but I'll come back later with some interesting findings about the aero and drag for further speculation 🙂

Front wing, 1 click: 0,40kph

Rear wing, 1 click: 0,72kph

If someone is willing to complete the test I could provide visual graphs to easily spot differences with a quick look.

I’m also working on aero/drag graphs and to complete my research I’d need more info about speed differences to make real conclusions.
