Stuck communicating with online services

Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Stuck communicating with online services, can't play
What is your 16 digit Report Code?
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just load the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Game is stuck
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the game work

Game can't even load the main menu due to being stuck communicating with online services, it's been like this since christmas.

Already tried reinstalling everything including steam in case that helped to no avail.

Send help.

OP appears to be having the same problem raised in other threads. For what it's worth, none of the connection troubleshooting helped me solve this issue.

Did you manage to make any solution work? I've been trying everything but seems a lost cause

Same problem here. Cant get it to work. it works on xbox but not on steam-PC

So I still can't play unless I go offline, any hope for a fix? It's quite shameful

@Felman They are working on it apparently. I had it happen to me yesterday for an hour or so. Before I could connect. Was hoping it may have been because they were implementing the fix. Unfortunately not☹️

How do you know that they're working on it? I have it stuck on that screen for a few * MONTHS now

@MerijnM Because i and other champions ask our EA overlords about this and other issues. We don’t get any detailed information. But we will get told if its being investigated

@ScarDuck14 thanks for the update ScarDuck. It's nice to know they're aware of it and working to fix it. I've had this problem for over two months at this point so it will be nice to get back into the game.

@apollojeff24 Just hope they find a fix. Because it’s taking so long I’m off the thinking it’s something so small that causing the problem. Like a wrong value or decimal point in the wrong place.
