Time Trial lap not getting onto the leaderboard

So on time trial in Miami I’ve done multiple valid laps faster than my current leaderboard time but it never updates the leaderboard lap to my faster time 

When I finish a lap that is faster it will always show the purple fastest lap icon at the top of the screen but will never update the leaderboard time which is much slower

    Same problem. Going around Imola in an Aston Martin Supercar in Time Trial mode, did a couple of legitimate laps but neither of them got onto the leaderboard.
