Title says it all, F1 22 right now has the worst wet weather I've ever experienced! It's genuinely impossible to do anything, why does it feel like I have the grip of driving in the dry but a constant floating rear, it's the strangest feeling I've ever had the displeasure of witnessing, literally feels like I'm driving a drift car or something not a Formula 1 car, it's actually an embarrassment Codies tested this and thought it was acceptable to sell to people, the more I play this game the more I'm starting to think this is the worst game they've ever made and that's amongst many other poor games they've made in the past, for me F1 2021 was brilliant, the AI was well balanced and the wet weather was actually fun and drivable, how have we gone from that to this absolute mess? Are Codies even going to sort this mess out or is this it? Is this mess really the game they thought was acceptable to sell, absolutely disgusting, the amount of things I'm seeing on here makes Codies look like amateurs compared to a lot of studios, I've already had to write a detailed post on how bad the handing is and now we have to deal with wet weather being completely unplayable as well? What next..

I totally agree,I have the ps5 version and it has so many bugs and glitches,they might aswell start releasing f1 games every two years then maybe we would actually get a finished game.

If the race starts dry and changes to wet you can always adjust the race distance so you only get the dry part.I am definitely using surface temperatures only for any race or qualifying session in the wet now, it’s the only wat to compete at the same level as the AI.

AI was even less fun, because they would gain crazy amounts of time in certain corners, where you had to compensate that by lowering the AI, making it too easy in other parts of the track.I believe the 22 handling to be far superior to 21. Especially considering there's a patch waiting for the transmission.The point is, however you feel about elements of the game or the game in general, calling it disgusting, an absolute mess, amateurs and completely unplayable is not the right way to disuss any concerns you may have. Just because it doesn't work for your driving style, doesn't necessarily make it bad.

Definitely, the game is as buggy as *****!!!! Not cheap too...but when you have too many rant posts, it devalues the points and makes it look like.... ohh its just the normal customer complaints.There are a lot worse issues with this game...like the game crashing, freezing, varied performance...real game-breaking bugs that really make it unplayable..Not taking away from the OP but we need to put our frustration based on the severity of the issues.

@zed08je0ot2v How can you play this and say it's an improvement over 2021? I presume you either use assists or aren't on the pad because using no assists and a pad makes driving in the wet this year the strangest dynamic I've ever encountered on a racing game, you have insane grip at the front and absolutely zero rear like someone decided to remove the rear wing and diffuser before heading out on track, the limit of the grip goes far beyond physics of a wet track, we have ground affect floors and the car feels less stuck to the track how does that work? It's just a very bizarre decision from Codies

@Jimjonez323 I completely agree, I've already given a detailed more clean version but had to vent my frustration because it's becoming a common things within the video game world these days, developers releasing unfinished/untested games because money talks, so now and then it needs to be said

I do play with no assist so I know what you mean... i also had the game crash on me a few times, the game running at low fps which made it unplayable.
So I understand when people are pi$$ed, the game feels like a glass vase that can break at any time.
Everyone has their own issue with the game, some issues we can manage to live with and some are just game-breaking and deserves a rant.

@SlendermanXXI Because I feel like it's a big improvement. And I've seen plenty others say the same thing. There's still a lot wrong with this game, as was the case with previous games, and I'm certainly not defending Codemasters for the obvious mistakes they make every year. I'm merely pointing out that this is a matter of opinion and there's no consensus among players to justify an attack like the opening post of this topic.

FYI: I drive without any assists on a Fanatec DD Pro.
