This is a HUGE red flag warning to EA and I can only hope they get the message and NEVER screw up this bad again with this series in the future..

F1 2020 was the best one of the series, for sure - and also the last one from Codies themselves..
F1 2021 was a copy/paste smaller (with less content and worse overall) version of that one (already by EA)..
And F1 22 is just a total EA mess at the moment - which is a shame, of course.. great game company with a game full of potential to be amazing, but.. they dropped the ball REALLY bad, so..
The point of this topic is: F1 22 just definitely does NOT deserve the vote for Best Sports/Racing game this year and lots of people are making sure to tell that to EA..
I hope they listen and actually do better and never drop the ball this bad again in the future..
Racing sim is a stretch. There are various other better racing sims but I guess as it's not limited to PC it has a far wider gamer base.
Online being down again today doesn't help matters.
Once a pon a time we used to talk about the game and not the problems but as the song says......that was yesterday and yesterday is gone.
