What Keyboard Works With F12022 For Navigation

Hi,

I'm having trouble navigating with my keyboard.

Is there a certain type of keyboard to use ?

Mine is a basic microsoft keyboard.

When I use the F Keys like F1, the Volume Control comes up.

Say I hit F5 or F6 like are shown on the game screens Nothing Happens.

ESC will exit the menus but won't exit the game for instance.

I have to alt+enter to go to windowed mode to close the game.

I also tried using the generic keyboard scheme.

I just got the game yesterday and so far I am not having any real

navigation control with this keyboard.

I am using a PC and Wheel setup, the problem is with navigation.

The game is pretty much not playable at least the correct way with this keyboard

    @SteveBody I’m not 100% but I don’t believe you can use keyboards in the menus or any part of the game. I think it’s all done through controller inputs

    I do have the PC game and I see icons for the keys like F1 F5 and F6.

    It also has keyboard schemes on it, you can't see the scheme though I do believe.

    I'll keep trying to figure it out, I have a gaming computer not xbox or ps.

    Ok so far it is the Function Lock on the keyboard that is the problem.

    What you can do is:

    Disable hot keys on the keyboard in BIOS, or if you are able to use

    the F-Lock on your keyboard use that, or you can press the fn key + the f keys

    like fn + F1 or fn + F2 etc.

    This game is a lot to handle so far.

    Really need mouse support.

    You've probably got past this but I recall that one 'trick' to making a keyboard work on F1 games is to first mouse click anywhere on the screen once the game has been started. Your odd experience may have related to the keyboard's 'focus' being on whatever was going on in the background rather than the game itself.

    Are you certain? Checking some previous posts this is the first time I've seen this mentioned, and I'd previously thought it was the left mouse button?

    @Ultrasonic_77 I'm shure, in my case works only right button (Origin, W10). And yes, i'm righthanded.
