Wrong menu buttons when using Thrustmaster TX and OpenWheel

Which area is the bug/glitch in? My Team
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into Game Options and edit Thrustmaster 458 Italia Preset Your [back] button will now be [4] and your [accept} button will now be [6] Save as new custom preset restart the game the menu buttons will now be falsely [6] and [5] with the same custom preset enabled.
What happens when the bug occurs? the menu buttons be falsely [6] and [5] with the same custom preset enabled.
What do you expect to see? the menu buttons should be [4] and [5]

Since F1 21 the game does not correctly save menu buttons on the Thrustmaster TX with the OpenWheel

    @feuerbanano Which wheel do you have?
    The Open wheel or 458 Italia cause they are not the same to the best of my knowledge.

    This is only to reproduce the bug. The point is that if you reconfigure the menu buttons they will not save after a restart. This was working in F12020 but broke in 21 and is still broken in 22.

    Had the same problem,and I had to update The wheel and then it worked like a charm!

    I use the Open Wheel, both TM Software and Base Firmware are up-to-date.. there seems to be no way to update the wheel itself only the base.

    @feuerbananoThe Open Wheel is NOT compatible with F1 unless you're on PC and Im not real sure about that as it is NOT on the PC list either.

    Mayhem buddy, you are still missing the point. Say I want to edit the menu buttons on a normal pc keyboard and save it. Next time i load the game it will load this configuration and the correct menu buttons.

    However if i do that on the wheel, it will load the CORRECT configuration but still default to the WRONG menu buttons.

    tl:dr

    Game says it loaded configuration with menu buttons [4] and [6]

    In reality its still [5] and [6]

    as a workaround i can enable any other config and then switch back to the one i saved. The game now recognizes it made an error and loads the correct menu buttons.

    This is a bug
