This stupid “shots to goal” while completing everything else meant I couldn’t stay at Milan and HAD to go on loan or change clubs.

This happened to me tonight, I was wanting to renew with City.
I easily done enough to get a new deal.
That would be mutch appreciated. I only buy the game because of these mode and we cannot play it anymore after the third season.
Just looked at the patch notes for the title update this month. No mention for a fix to this bug that literally breaks this game mode. What an absolute joke. The game has been out for over 2 months and a simple bug like this can't be fixed.
Considering how many people are affected by this issue, an issue which will affect anyone who doesn’t complete all objectives, this definitely should be one of the first fixes they make to Career Mode. It’s frustrating because something so simple isn’t there, and is causing a vast majority of players to lose interest and motivation for playing the game.
Having the ability to renegotiate your contract at the end of the season, based off of your season performance and objectives, will make the game feel authentic, giving the players more of a true to life experience. As someone who came back to playing FIFA/EA FC after several years, and who solely plays the Player Career Mode, it will be a shame if this isn’t addressed soon.

I have been waiting until November 21st. There has not been a fix, yet. I can't renew my contract. Please tell us, will you EVER be able to fix it?
I'm pretty sure this bug just a wrong condition in the code what could be fixed around 2 minutes (with the commit message). Even so the EA doesn't [Edited] about a game stopper bug since September. Well done, as a customer who payed the game, I appreciate so much this attitude.
Ps.: I'm a developer as well and I really want to work for EA if this work morale is ok.

How is this still an issue when it was initially reported in Setember. A simple thing to fix. They acted quickly to resolve other difficult things.
Every week or something they launch some update saying they fixed this and that in everymode except the offline ones. They just don't care.
We will have EA FC 25 and this bug still on EAFC 24.
That's why you can only refund this game after 24h of playing it, because you wont find these bugs in 24h so at the time you find out you can't do nothing unless wait

Not sure if I should laugh or cry, but the fact that the Community Moderator edited the newest comments on this thread is somewhat funny for me. EA is clearly obvious of this game-breaking bug (which, may I remind you, exists since September) and they are observing the threads about that issue, but instead of working on a solution for the problem or atleast giving any updates to the community they instead only edit the comments.
It really feels like EA is putting more effort in moderating their forums than in fixing their game.

We still having this issue. Probably the worst Fifa Ever.
It’s ridiculous that it’s been 3 months since the game released and there is still no fix to the problem, and not only that, but very little communication by the developers. A normal game would have had this fixed within a week, but knowing these developers they won’t fix it for the rest of the game. I had spent hours on my player career, and right in the middle of the World Cup, I am unable to even sign for a new team and progress my game. Wasted save, wasted hours of my life. I have seen free games function better, so how a 70 dollar game is broken to this extent is beyond me. I deleted the game, and I’m taking a stand against EA until they actually decide to take action and fix the bugs in their games.
How have they not been able to fix an issue when the game was released in October and it’s like 4 days til 2024? EA really doesn’t give a * if micro transactions ain’t involved.
The fact this was reported in September and still has not been fixed is crazy. It's a game breaking bug for Player Career and EA simply do not care! It really goes to show EA, DO NOT play the game modes otherwise they would have noticed this bug. Guys I have a workaround that worked for me.. every season around 5 days before the season ends change your players position to another position, so if you are a striker change it to a midfielder and this will allow you to stay at the club.
Make sure you change it a complete different position, changing from left striker to a right striker will not work it has to be a full position change. Downside is will take your managers rating all way down to start of a sub again which is annoying but is the only work around for it right now until EA fix this.

Tried this too. When I switched to midfielder the only objective I didn't fulfill was to win player of the year (I fully completed all other mandatory + wage increase objectives) so of course it didn't work for me. It's definitely a good possible workaround if winning player of the year wasn't one of your optional objectives.
Is there any news regarding this bug?
