This one comes under the little things that bugs me, it should definitely be sorted, but doesn't affect me playing (my opinion not disregarding anyone else's)

I could be making this up but I swore I saw a reason in previous game that was to do with potential issues with injuries and suspensions with minimum squad sizes wouldn't take much for us to be forefeiting games due to low number of players which even now shouldn't be an issue as my team Leeds United were that short on players recently we named 1 less sub so maybe EA can increase the number of subs but ensure the minimum number before forfeiting remains the same as it currently is.

Again I doubt we'll get an answer, maybe if someone posts in a language not accepted by EA then maybe @EA_Lanna will pop in, I'm sure the community would be much more interested in answers regarding some of the issues risen rather than just moderating what language some posts in, you know Google translate is a thing so we can all work around that. Thanks

If that was indeed the reason given then it isn't a reason but an excuse and an unacceptable one at that. Easily fixed in the fashion you suggested. There is no acceptable excuse for this to exist as a problem.

I can't remember if this was a response or speculation at the time when 9 named subs became a regular thing. I know being allowed to make 5 subs took longer as well as initially that was a temporary law brought in over COVID so I understood them not including at the time but they eventually did along with the 5 sub rule so no reason not to make the bench limit bigger. I also remember way way back we used to have an option to change the number of subs available I'm talking like 10 years ago and we could've had a full 22 man squad if wanted.

It's not a game breaking issue, but it's something that doesn't need to be over looked, but then again EA have never got the red card rule right so don't hold out hope on it
