Ea fc 25 crashed during squad battles

Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 12/26/2024
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 12:05 AM
What is your time zone? ECT - GMT + 1:00
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I played against the featured TOTW, the game crashed and I received 0 points as it counted as a DNF…so based on this, you can clearly see that I was affected and I also reported it to PSN
What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes and the game registers it as DNF, resulting in 0 points towards my squad battles points
What should be happening instead? Let me finish the match and get 1700points

I need compensation instantly as it’s unacceptable…this happens from time to time resulting in me losing points and finishing in Gold 1 tier instead of Elite 3. I’m a regular customer of yours, spending quite a lot on ea fc points, so I think I’m eligible for some kind of compensation…

    @Joeine Same issue for me, just happened again. Already 0-3 in 2 out of 5 weekly SB matches. For me it is always after goals. I try to avoid using the skip function. My aim is usually to score once or twice then just hold the ball for the rest of the match. It would be nice if EA showed some care and tried to do something about it.

    @francksauzee4 I agree, I've noticed it never happens if I play all 12 then continue to refresh opponents and play (just to get Evolutions done, for instance). For me, it is always after goals. My guess is a glitch whereby the SB points are calculated for each match. Each goal adds 100 points, so I imagine something is going wrong when the goal is scored and the calculation is happening - the game just freaks out.

    It would be great if all 12 were replayable (like TOTW) so if it happens we could try again (if they aren't going to get off their backsides and fix the problem they know about).

    Game crashes everytime I open any game environment. Whether it is simple training arena or kick off or squad battles. So frustrating.

    It happened to me two weeks in a row !!!!! this is not acceptable !! two weeks in  a row im missing Elite1 in squade battle because the game crashes ! i need compensation . I was winning a game in legendary difficulty 5-0 and it just crashes !! Am i paying my mondey for this ?

    This happens to me regularly. Just now again. You score a goal, want to skip the goal and the game crashes.

    Of course, it will be scored with 0 points and is damn annoying, because, you can already forget about higher rewards.

    With only 12 games, more than annoying.

    @EA sports, billion dollar company,

    Will you fix this issue today after 6 weeks of happening?

    Tomorrow is a new reset for SB and I finally want to play all of the games.

    Got through my 12 squad battles without crash this week but just had one in rivals.

    During match start, when it displayed teams, didn't show any players, then game just closed and returned me to xbox dashboard.

    Problem wasn't occuring like for 2 weeks but it started again. My problem always occurs whenever I score. I think problem is, game cannot verify the players on your team because whenever I get the crash, I quickly check who scored from right or left of the pitch where the card of the scoring players shows up and ıt always crashes when it is wrong. For example I scored with Vini but it showed Neto and poof insta crash or I scored with Socrates and it displayed empty card and got the crash again.

    @ElTay0203 This is happening to me too! I am able to complete the matches fine on PS5 but get the the “Squad Battle Progress” screen at the end of the game for it to just show 0 points. EA, are you working on a fix for this?

    I’ve had the exact same thing happen dozens of times. Made me so mad I wanted to throw the controller at the TV. Cost me so many points and Gold 1 vs Elite etc.


    A few days ago I stumbled upon a recommendation to boot in safe mode (I’m on a PS5)…and then clear the cache. For me it worked and no crashes in the last few days. Might be worth a try if you are on a PS5. Others have said to reinstall the game.  Good luck and sorry as I know how frustrating this is.
