How to report a bug - Guide

Hey FC Fans,

Welcome to the Bug Report Section.

We will collect bugs and feedback shared during the year. We will also try our best to keep you updated regarding issues, asking you for further info when needed and telling you when an issue is under investigation and fixed.

What doesn't belong in the bug forum?

  • Connection problem - Please use the technical issues forum for this
  • Account problems, changes for e-mails | passwords | security settings etc.
  • Account locks
  • Problems installing the game

Bugs in the game are problems you can not solve yourself, and our support team can not solve them acutely. In these cases, we need to reproduce these bugs, develop a possible fix, validate this, then make it live and check if the fix has solved the problem and no further problems exist.  This process sometimes may need a new patch update and that's why it is difficult to define an ETA for all the issues reported and verified.

It's critical to be as specific as possible when submitting a bug report.

We want to help you with a solution, so the more specific you are, the easier it will be for our Team to identify the issue and work on a solution. Facing a bug could be very annoying for us as well as for you, and with the best collaboration, we will improve communication and give you updates faster.

What to do if you face a bug.

  • Check if the common troubleshooting steps can help you fix it.
  • Use the search tab to see if other players have reported the same issue. If so, reply to that thread with the information requested.
  • Either if you are creating a new thread or replying to a post,  Fill out all requested fields in the bug report form
  • Add a Screenshot or clip Video. Screenshots and videos are crucial for helping us identify bugs and understand reproduction steps. You can follow the Guide in the second post on "How to Share a Screenshot or Clip Video."

Thank you in advance for any report you will share and for helping us to make  EA SPORTS FC™ 25 a better experience for everyone!

Guide - How to share a Screenshot or a Video Clip.

    Screenshots:

Screenshots always help us a lot in understanding what is happening on your screen and what you are seeing. Detailed descriptions are often helpful, but a visual look at what you are seeing can often help us to even better identify a bug and also, if necessary, pass it on to our game teams who will also have a visual look at the problem.

    How do I take screenshots?

There are numerous ways to do this, depending on the platform, the options differ a bit, of course, but here are the most common ways you can take a screenshot:

Console screenshots: The popular consoles offer a built-in screenshot feature that you can use.

    Additional Third Party tools:

    • Shadowplay
    • PrintScreen (Windows option)
    • Game screenshots
    • OBS
    • AMD Radeon ReLive
    • Snipping Tool

or take a photo with your phone 🙂

Upload your screenshot to your AHQ Bug report so we can review it and send it to our teams for investigation.

    Videos:

Videos are usually the best option for us to understand your problems. Above all, they also prove to us what you see or have seen, so that we can then act accordingly.

    How can I record videos?

The most popular consoles offer a clip feature allowing you to record and upload short video clips.

    How do I upload them?

    PlayStation:

    • Then, in your browser or on your phone, you can pull up the link and add it directly to your bug report, so we can access it.
    • It's best to upload the video as "unlisted" so that the video isn't shown to everyone on your channel.
    • Also, you have the option to download your video as a .mp4 video directly from your YouTube content dashboard:

    OR

    Turn on Auto-Upload for PlayStation

    1. Go to your Playstation settings > Captures and Broadcast > turn on the "Auto-Upload" option.

    2. Download the PS App for your Android or iOS phone and connect your PlayStation Account
    3. Get all your video clips and screenshots directly uploaded to your app.

    4. Open the media file and download it on your phone and attach it to your post on AHQ.

    Xbox:

    1. Open the Xbox Console Companion app on your PC.
    2. Sign in to the app using your Microsoft account.
    3. Select the Captures icon on the left menu panel.
    4. Select On Xbox Live to view captures you’ve uploaded to the Xbox network.
    5. Select the Download button to download the captures locally to your PC. These will be stored in the Videos folder on your C: drive.
    6. Upload your local files to OneDrive or another storage location.

You can also download your clips directly to your PC using https://gamerdvr.com

    PC:

The platform of almost unlimited possibilities. You can use many different software programs for your clips.

    Recommendable are:

    • Nvidia Shadowplay (If you own a Nvidia graphics card).
    • AMD ReLive (If you own an AMD graphics card).

If your downloaded files are too big, you can upload clips to platforms like:
