Issue with Hero 86+ Player Pick Selection

This has happened to me too. I selected Pelé (TOTY version) and pressed X carefully to confirm, but it chose gold Dani Carvajal instead.
Did you get any response?
I noticed in another discussion that EA mentioned this happens because we select quickly, but I did it very carefully, and it still changed my selection. This is definitely a bug from EA and not related to the speed of our pick

@Nisani3 @Kirod619 Do you guys have any video clips or screenshot of this player pick selection issue? Are you aware that recently player pick selection has changed and the new way of selecting player from player pick is little different from, it used to be?

Idon’t have a screenshot or video of my selection because I didn’t think there was a bug in the system, and I didn’t feel the need to record my player choice. However, it can easily be verified which options were available to me, and there’s no reason why I wouldn’t have chosen the TOTY version of a player like Pele.

I can assure you that I made my selection as carefully as possible. Additionally, I had two friends with me who witnessed the incident.

Of course, I’m aware of the updated process for selecting players. I’ve been playing the game for quite some time, and as I mentioned, this happened after I completed Objective #24. Objectives #17 through #23 also involved player selection (except for Objective #23), and I followed the same process successfully. This demonstrates that I know how to properly select a player.

@Nisani3 To report a bug, you need to have valid proof of screenshot or video clip or something else, then only EA help can validate as far as I know.

With regards to new player pick selection, see below example of player pick. Which player is selected from this example?

I agree with you that if the bug could be anticipated or easily traced, I would certainly have taken a screenshot or video.
However, since the bug occurred suddenly and without any prior indication, how can EA expect me to have a recording ready?

Claiming that the lack of a screenshot or video absolves the company of responsibility and prevents them from assisting is highly unprofessional.
The internet and this forum are filled with similar complaints, and there are plenty of videos online showcasing the exact same bug, albeit with other players.

In the image you’re showing here, the player selected would be the rightmost option—Rashford.
I have provided אם EA the exact date and time when the incident occurred.
The company can easily investigate this and compensate the players affected by their bug.
That’s the minimum level of accountability one would expect from a responsible company.

@Nisani3 You are wrong. From above example, you will get Gold Aspas.

Let me explain - In new player pick selection, you need to look at a Green checkmark with Selected label at the bottom of the card. The green bracket you are seeing is just for moving from one player to another player. It is not final selection. Hence, you will get Gold Aspas (Green Selected checkmark) and Not Rashford (Green Bracket). I hope you understand the new changes.

You might have made a similar mistake in your player pick selection. Currently, 75+ player pick available in SBCs, you can try to reproduce similar scenario and validate yourself. You will understand these new changes.

Thank you for the clarification—I’ve definitely learned something new from this.
However, I am still convinced that I selected the second player because at no point did I choose anyone other than Pele.

As I mentioned earlier, there are numerous reports and videos online documenting similar bugs. I would greatly appreciate it if EA could investigate this matter further and confirm that I indeed selected Pele during the process.
