Manager Career - Youth Academy Faces don't grow beards and look unrealistic

Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode
Which part of the mode? Manager Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to youth academy in Manager Career.
What happens when the bug occurs? Some players in the youth academy have very unrealistic faces, almost comical, and all players do not have beards. When the players hit 16 years old, they gain height and weight, but their faces don't change, so there are no beards in the game once all real players retire by the 15th season. This is very unrealistic and makes the game look unprofessional from standards of past games.
What should be happening instead? Youth players should have more realistic faces using cranium, and have the option to have beards / change of hairstyles. These should come in to place when either the player is generated or they hit 16.

The youth faces are unrealistic, and some are even just female faces in the mens career mode. No beards or older looking faces either when the players age.

    They look like Oblivion characters. The women scouted from Kazakhstan all look like Borat and have a uni-brow. Kazakhstan is an central Asian country made up of Asian people. WTF EA?

    This is a joke and it completely breaks my immersion. All youth academy players look like troglodytes.

    @hrisk0 Yeah its a shame since they did a great job with real players generic faces this year. The generated youth players just ruin it.

    I'll never understand why they don't just allow us to edit academy players' appearance. It's a single player mode, people can choose to put in the effort to fix weird looking players or carry on not caring if they choose. It's a no-brainer.

    Agreed. Looks awful. They look like if you told Chat GPT to draw demonic figures. Please do not be woke with the gender bull... Some look like ladies. Deformed ones at best. I always skip the goal celebrations on Rush because their faces are so disturbing to look at.  Please fix this.

    Also, the menu gets stuck when you go into youth academy. Top right has the team management menu instead of Notifications, Squad, etc. I have to hold L2 and pick a random menu for it to return to normal. Not sure if anybody else has this issue.

    Jumping in to say I'm seeing this, too. Youth player faces are off-putting at best and terrifying at worst. For anyone playing manager mode, they are immersion-breaking.

    it’s still such an issue…

    They could simply fix this by introducing an edit player function for face/hair of youth players…

    I agree, I have sold players that are good but look like Frankenstein's monster in order to have less horrific beasts within my team. It really does make it difficult to play as you progress, and edit mode would help but previous games had solved the weak chin glitch from games past.  It's a shame there is another game breaking problem for career mode, it really is strides better this year and this issue is such a shame. I have really enjoyed all of the other changes and found the game much more immersive.  Don't even mention create your own team option as you start with a full team of odd looking players!
