The latest squad update should apply to the career mode and include the new scans. It appears that right before the live start point date is selected a seemingly outdated squad file is downloaded overwriting the most up to date one. Note - this only applied to live start points, a fresh new career mode applied the correct squad file.

Same here. Live Start Points forces you to download "latest updates" but the latest update is the old squad file. No option to play with the current file present on the game/system and can't prevent the game from downloading the old file because L.S.P requires network connection. Currently ruining the game for me. I want to use the L.S.P. feature as it was intended and advertised (and I don't want to start a fresh career mode because they haven't fixed the glitch where you don't get any transfer notifications if you disable the first window.)So I got excited for the new update and faces, went to start my career.. and then had to quit the game. EA giving this no attention, so seems I just won't get to play this month while waiting for another L.S.P. to be added. Which, at that point, will once again be outdated..

Just in case anyone’s tracking this bug report, I’ve just tested on PS5 and it appears that from the most recent Live Start Points date the scanned faces now appear.I also tested choosing an older date as the live start point and the faces don’t appear which I’d still say shouldn’t be the case but at least we can start new career modes from the most recent Live Start Point date now.

Yeah it’s frustrating, I started a new career via LSP made a pretty long short list of players, set tactics etc. then realised after all of that, that the new faces weren’t applied.

Hoping that after the most recent LSP update we’ll at least get them from that date onwards.

It's ridiculous that this still isn't sorted surely it's a quick fix. They still haven't sorted fresh start manager career mode, you still don't get transfer offer notifications. Typical EA, you buy the game in September yet it's always needing a fix and you're always needing to restart a career.

Going to post separately about this but: LSP has another big issue. Non-user-controlled teams do not renew any expiring contracts in year one. All expiring contracts are allowed to expire. I'm in season 2 and TAA, Salah, VVD, Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Joshua Kimmich, etc. are all free agents.

Happening to me too after latest squad update. How is a company making this much money so incompetent. This is a simple fix!
