Unable to save personal settings 1

What happens when the bug occurs? I can't even load the game up or enter a game mode, every time I load the game I get "Unable to save Personal Settings 1" and the few times I got passed that I opened Ultimate Team and played a Squad Battle game which lost connection before half time and then when I reload the game I get a "Unable to load Personal Settings 1" and I can't advance past that
What should be happening instead? I should be able to play the game

As stated above, the game won't let me load to the main menu, it tells me it can't save (or sometimes load) my Personal Settings 1, I've tried the workarounds others have suggested for previous games but the issue persists. I first noticed this when I tried to play the 10 hour trial, I thought maybe it's an issue with the trial and would be fixed when the game came out, here we are a day after and I've not been able to play a game I spent money on.

If I click "continue without saving" then I can get to the opening cutscene but then the game will crash and close itself, on the very rare occasion I get to the main menu, I can't do anything and it'll eventually crash and close itself.

This shouldn't be happening on a brand new game, there shouldn't have even been personal settings to load the very first time I opened the game?

I am unable to enter the old gen version of eafc 25. This is very upsetting as I cannot play the game.

The same thing happened to me i bought the game for my xbox one yesterday and i been getting the unable to save personal settings 1 and also the game closes too when the cutscene ends but i cant find help online, if you fix it let me know how please

Same here. I for some reason have no gamemodes showing on the main menu. All I see if FC news, Learn To Play, and UPGRADE….. UPGRADE…. It’s like glitched like it’s an old beta (which I never downloaded). What is this glitch has anyone found a way to fix it? I see so many having the same problem and apparently no one has fixed it! I wish I could call ea sports to find a solution faster because I’ve tried everything. Terrible company.
