Tottenham Hotspur are delighted to announce the signing of England international Marcus Rashford on loan for the rest of the season. The 27 year old winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa but has decided to make the move to North London he said this on his arrival
Rashford “I’m really excited to be joining Tottenham Hotspur, you look at the impact the manager has had since coming in and you can see that he really does have big ambitions for the club you know they won the Europa league last season and hopefully this season we can push on and try and finish as high as possible and hopefully try and win a cup to keep the club growing. I can’t wait to get started and hopefully score some goals."
Robbie Keane added “Marcus is a fantastic talent, he is fast, strong and can finish he is exactly the type of player we are pleased to be adding and hope he can have a massive impact. He’s had a rough couple of seasons but it wasn’t that long ago he scored 30 odd goals and hopefully he can do something similar for us again.”
