Edit mode in FC 26
Hi EA team, I’d like to suggest an improvement for Career Mode — the ability to edit kits, crests, names and sponsors for unlicensed teams in all platforms. Reasons: 1. Similar to Konami’s Option Files in PES, players could import custom kits, logos, fonts and sponsors. You could implement a similar system. 2. On the “Edit kits” forum many users request the option to customize kit parts (shirt, shorts, socks) — either via colour palette, or by allowing PNG imports for crests and logos (cite included). 3. The editor could be restricted to unlicensed teams only (e.g. Bergamo Calcio, Latium... ), so it wouldn’t conflict with existing licensing agreements. Suggested features: - Replace textures for shirt, shorts, socks separately - Upload logos, sponsors, numbers via PNG - Activate only for teams without real license - Change team names This would greatly improve Career Mode experience as it is annoying to play for/against AC or Inter Milan with random kits or names. Thank you for considering this request! Best regardskordap9949 days agoSeasoned Newcomer2.1KViews5likes6Comments5 reasons Player Career mode is a dumpster fire
1. Objectives/requirements to transfer to other teams are ridiculous I'm currently playing a striker who's rated 94 and winning awards, but can't transfer to many top tier clubs after two seasons. Every great club requires the striker I made to have 158 "Successful Pass and Goes" - but those are not a feature when you play as your player (rather than as a team). So it's literally impossible. My player has ZERO. Have had the same with unrealistic numbers of sliding tackles with CAM position. Would literally have to set a single-season record for sliding tackles which, considering the ease with which yellow cards are earned attempting them with a non-defense position player, all seems pointless. 2. Most Playstyles are inaccessible. Because of the strange requirement of choosing a personality type (which adds nothing to the experience other than annoyance) in player career mode, and Playstyles being reliant on this fake personality, only certain play styles are available to you. Also, not all Playstyles are available... I've seen players in Ultimate Team (a mode I don't play) who are offensive players and have the "Aerial" Playstyle. Not available in player career mode for any offensive position. Perhaps there are other examples of this. 3. Playstyle Plus is mostly inaccessible You have to maintain 65% of a personality type to have the limited (see point 2) options available to boost to plus. Good luck. If you wanted a "Virtuoso" striker, nope. Part of the reason has to do with personality types not gaining enough points in Training if your position is arbitrarily deemed a mismatch. For example, you get high payback on personality points if you're a "Maverick" striker only if you do the shooting training exercises. If you are aiming for a personality type that is not easy for your position, like a "Heartbeat" striker, be prepared to grind... and never hit the 65% mark. Even if you have training exercises that only boost your personality type and choose every activity that only boosts the one you're trying to hit and buy every purchasable that boosts your personality type, too many personality points in the match day will forever keep you under 65%... Playstyles are probably the most fun feature--it's even advertised in-game - but have been severely hamstrung by this odd obsession EA has with these useless personality types. Maverick strikers are the only ones you can reliably count on to hit and maintain 65% or over. 4. The attempts to make it "story-like" are a disaster I'm pretty sure there are a few different angles to take, such as taking a more story/cinematic approach (which sounds like a nightmare for EA given how many languages a game like this would have to cover), or making it more of a simulator-like experience, where the emphasis might be solely on designing and tweaking your player in ways that are more sophisticated than the ones that are so seriously compromised by the personality types, limited Playstyle access, etc. The moral of the story currently is gaining personality points, assuming you want access to Playstyles. However, taking on a personality like Maverick, you see that your character says super douchey things in social media, talks trash about the manager, etc. It's like you have to ignore them rather than have them being an immersive element that adds to the experience. 5. The attempts to make it "story-like" are a disaster, part 2 The creation of "stories" is pointless, they're not interesting, it's weird that someone like a player making a comeback is arbitrarily bad at penalty kicks. Other story-like elements like the fake social media posts are corny, laden with stock imagery, repetitive, useless (e.g., being popular on social media doesn't gain you anything and are therefore not really part of the game theory of this), and uninformative. The "Agent" says the same few lines over and over again and yet appears in your task list so you kind of have to open them just to dismiss them from your task list again... and again... and again... Basically, it seems like EA is randomly hanging onto a personality system that has no use other than to hamper access to parts of the game that might be most fun for most people. The half-baked effort to make the experience story-like makes it feel even sadder since it's so disappointing, cheesy, incomplete... this game mode would be better off without both assuming some other, less rudimentary way of building a player's skills and giving access to Playstyles were to come about. With 2K building FIFA's new offering, I'm sure the gameplay itself won't nearly match EA's, so we'll all stay here. But for those of us who prefer player career mode for whatever reason, if 2k prioritizes this mode like they have in NBA 2K, the FIFA game will murder FC 26 when it comes to player career mode. EA obviously has this mode as a last priority, it probably doesn't make any money beyond what we pay for the game, and has fewer users than other modes. I'm confused. NBA 2K makes incremental revenue and has tons of users in the player career game mode. So the question for EA is: is this not popular because people don't want to play this mode, or do people not play this mode because you clearly made it a last priority compared to UT et al and the experience sucks? Anyone's experience completely different?pantaloney17 days agoSeasoned Novice3.8KViews6likes6CommentsMissing content

There isn't a single development plan preset that allows you to train Free-Kicks, on previous editions of Career Mode this wasn't the case; please fix this bug we should be able to train free-kicks. The only way the Free-Kick stat gets boosted is via the "Balanced" option, it shouldn't be like this.ZizziZizou1 month agoRising Ace4KViews11likes44CommentsBring Back Old Division System to Pro Clubs in EA FC 26
EA Staff, good evening. I hope this post gets your attention to the point that some real change is made in the next game of the franchise, FC 26, as it would be very meaningful for thousands of players who love the Pro Clubs mode. Surely, others have already made posts about this as well. The change I’m referring to is related to the division system currently used in FC 25, which was introduced in FC 24. This system, which includes 6 divisions (5 regular divisions + Elite) and Playoffs based on the division after a certain number of days, has been very harmful to the mode. It was, without a doubt, a terrible change. A change that the vast majority of Pro Clubs players strongly disliked. EA Staff, with all due respect, I could list several reasons why this new Division system has been terrible for the Pro Clubs mode over the last two games of the franchise (EA FC 24 and EA FC 25). However, I’d like to keep this post short and, hopefully, have your attention. First of all, I believe the simplest path would be for EA to acknowledge that this change was not a positive one, that Pro Clubs players reacted very negatively to it and that the right thing to do is also the simplest: bring back The Old Division System. This return would bring a lot of joy to players in a very straightforward way. As an attempt to contribute, I’d still like to say that The Old Division System, which included 10 divisions and a number of matches per division, ensuring Promotion/Title, "Staying" in the Division, or Relegation, was used for around 10 years (I myself started playing Pro Clubs in FIFA 12), and it gave you and your friends a reason to log in and play Pro Clubs every single day, whether people had just a little time to play during the week, or all the time in the world. Every match mattered. If you were in Division 1, you were either playing for the title or to avoid being relegated to Division 2. If you were in Division 2, you were playing to get promoted, to stay and try again later, or to avoid relegation. And so on, depending on the division. Either way, you were always playing with a purpose, and every match was important—any day or time of the week. Please make the Simple, but Golden Change: Bring Back the Old Division System to Pro Clubs in the next game, EA FC 26. My AI defence is so bad every game, while my opponents are really solid, they refuse to tackle the ball, keep missing passes to other AIs, get caught out of position all the time even though i tell them to stay back while attacking and pass directly to the other team. I've tried different tactics, I'm currently running 4-2-3-1 attacking and they suck, it's completely unplayable. PS. they also seem to for some reason do 180's every time I call for a pass and then most of the time they straight up ignore me and then lose the ballWhenCreamGoesBa1 month agoNot applicable7.7KViews5likes11CommentsCMS General Discussion Thread

Dear EA Sports Support, I am experiencing an issue in EA SPORTS FC 25 Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 5. I would like to start a Manager Career with Ajax, but I cannot find the Netherlands or the Eredivisie in the list of available leagues. I can see other leagues such as La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and the Premier League, but the Eredivisie is completely missing. I have already: Installed the full game. Updated FC 25 to the latest version. Restarted the game. Created a new Manager Career. Unfortunately, the problem still remains. Could you please help me solve this issue or let me know if there is a fix available? Thank you for your time and support.14Views0likes0CommentsFc 26 ultimate team rush not working

Hello EA Sports, I really enjoy playing EA Sports FC 25 and it was really nice to have, and the gameplay is really good, but I think they could add Hypermotion on the PS4, from my perspective and from the perspective of many people would be very good because I think people would appreciate the game more and more, and I also think there would be more people who could buy the game just because of the magic that Hypermotion brings to the game.l hope this can change the game, because the game is very interesting, I hope they can change it. Dear EA Sports Team, I’m a PlayStation 5 user and a longtime fan of the FIFA series—I've played every game from FIFA 18 to FC 25. But to be honest, the spirit of FIFA feels like it's fading. Ultimate Team has become a game mode purely focused on opening packs and spending money. It’s the same game every year with just new cards, and for real football lovers like myself, it gets boring. What we really want is clear: an Online Career Mode. I’m talking about: - Players choosing a team and managing it in real-time - Competing in a league with other real online users - No more AI matches—only head-to-head against real people - Stadium upgrades based on club success and earnings - The ability to build training grounds, medical centers, and other facilities - Fanbase growing with your club’s performance - Optional cosmetics like custom kits, club logos, and manager outfits that could be monetized This kind of mode would take FIFA to the next level. Personally, I would jump straight in with Newcastle United, start from the bottom, and fight my way to Premier League and Champions League glory. That’s the kind of meaningful, competitive, and rewarding football experience we're missing. If you still want to make money, no problem—include cosmetic packs, custom visuals, etc. But continuing to release the same game year after year focused only on Ultimate Team is not what your loyal players deserve. We’re not just chasing goals—we’re chasing legacy, passion, and real football strategy. And only you can bring that to life.1.7KViews5likes5CommentsChanging seasons
Hi, my suggestion is to increase the limit of seasons a player can play in their career from 15 to any number you choose, for example, the maximum would be 50 seasons. Looking from a different perspective, if you choose the age of a player at 16, after playing 15 seasons they are 31 years old, so they are still young and ready to play, and the game already requires retirement. 31 is a good age for football, and a player could easily play until they are 40 or 45. Even if they were sitting on the bench and only coming on once a year, they would still play. A good example from real life is Crystiano Ronaldo, he is 41 years old and still plays football and will probably play until 45.awb1545154 months agoRising Newcomer188Views1like0Commentsmatchmaking

Platform: PlayStation 4 Game Mode: Player Career Mode Issue Detail: I am experiencing an issue where Lifestyle Event cutscenes do not trigger or appear only once and then disappear entirely. This happens consistently during my Player Career Mode playthrough on PS4. While I understand that some features are optimized for next-gen consoles, these lifestyle moments are a key part of the experience, and it feels like a technical bug rather than an intended limitation since they occasionally appear but then stop working. Steps to Reproduce: Play Player Career Mode on PS4. Advance through the season and participate in Lifestyle activities. Observe that the corresponding cutscenes/cinematics fail to play, or only show a black screen/static image before skipping to the menu. Desired Outcome: I would like to see these cutscenes restored or a patch to stabilize the cinematic triggers for PS4 users so we can enjoy the full immersion of the Career Mode.Nukrob4 months agoNewcomer78Views0likes0Comments
