New update?

I hear there is a small update recently which may address simulation and custom sliders not working in career mode matches and gameplay speed, dribbling, turns, shots etc still feeling  unrealistically fast and devoid of any realism.

Does anyone know if Career Mode gameplay feels more realistic and like pre-patch with custom sliders or is still as fast and unrealistic as described above?

I deleted the game and reinstalled so I don't have to play the game on the garbage, unrealistic , dumbed down "refresh" update so don't want to update the game if it means it will lfo back to the ping pong, arcade s* fest.
