Precision Playmaker EVO

The Precision Player maker evo expired the same time it was unlocked. Usually, players are given at least 7 days after unlocking the evo to complete the challenge. Why was this not the same for this evo?

I unlocked it 15 minutes before it expired but when I looked at it later, I got the notification saying it expired and now the player is stuck with an In-Progress Rarity. 

Did this happen to anyone else?
