On scouting or transfer page there isn't something daft like press a button to search at bottom of page or something like that or maybe an option in short list section?
Ah, just seen something. Have you turned Transfers off for first window? Apparently we can't search players if we do that. Dunno if that's a glitch. If you have done maybe SIM to January as a test to see if it appears

Thanks, this could be it. I always (almost) turn off the first transfer window, so perhaps that's just it. I'll try to sim a few months forward to check it out. Glad to learn that it might not be completely removed from the game 😉
I've simulated until January, and I still can't search for players. My Transfer Hub is also missing.
Started another save without closing the first transfer window. And everything was now available.
So apparently you can't start with a closed transfer window without the game removing your Transfer Hub and ability to search for players. Needs to be fixed.

Quick check up question
When you set up career and option for transfer window there are 3. Active, Disabled and Disabled first Window. If you happend to have chosen Disabled then you'll have no Transfer Hub on menu as they are deactivated for entire career. If you did Disabled first window only then I don't have an answer
Think they over complicating some of the options. Have come across another which may have caused this issue
I know I had "search players" option ON. Cause I tried setting up another career, and the same happened there. Apparently it's when you "Disable first transfer window", then transfer hub and search options etc goes missing too. Now I've started with an active transfer window, everything works. But it's pretty annoying when you want a realistic start, and 50+ transfers are already made before you play your first game...

For what it's worth I just loaded up a new career and summed until January 1st and the Transfer Hub and ability to search was there so whether that's when it appears either way it's a bit daft
i mentioned in a post in the general discussion, but i disabled the first window and as soon as september arrived, the transfer hub became available. looks like the game waits until the date when the transfer window is supposed to end to reactivate the transfer hub.
