EA, for the love of God... The game has been released for months now.

It's a massive oversight, to be honest. It can be done in five minutes, probably... And it's severely messing with all players enjoying Career Mode. 

Also, it defies all logic. Any player in the entire world with a football and some sort of goal at his/her disposal can practice free kicks and penalties.

Every player position should be able to practice every stat.

Strong free kick and penalty takers:

Andrea Pirlo, CDM

Sinesa Mihajlovic, CB

Roberto Carlos, LB

Consider making one stat per role training a "free / optional" choice for the players. For example, 10 stat increases with 9 preset stats and the possibility of choosing the last one yourself. Would solve so many problems.

This, of course is just an idea. But the possibility of training free kicks and penalties for every player position should literally be FIRST THING on your list when you get up in the morning. 

GET IT DONE, please. 

Can't train FKs, can't train penalties, please fix this ffs, the game has been out for four months.

That’s really bad. All of our youth academy players are so bad in free kicks!!! If you don’t buy one of these overpowered re or pregens, you will never make goals after free kicks. Removing this feature is as stupid as removing to see the OVR growth!! Don’t know why EA is making always these weird things!!! Removing good features, removing leagues, removing national teams without saying nothing!!! But then they add the finish women national team, thanks a lot!

You would make a career community very, very happy, if you would please, pleeeeeaaaase fix this.

Scoring goals on corners and free kicks (along with penalties) is being way harder than it should with my team, due to the fact that there seem to be a law against practicing that kind of stuff during training. 

Oh, and that highly covered curve shot playstyle? Freaking useless, as the curve stat cannot be trained also. 

Honestly, I consider it hugely disrespectful that you are not mending these vast oversights. It's bad enough that you haven't identified the mistakes during pre-launch testing. Next time, use the community during beta testing, ffs! You've got a host of people raring to go and help you with sorting these things out and finding out what's lacking. 

Months have passed now. Are you really gonna continue to ignore the fact, that this is bothering so many people?

I cannot in any way possible way fathom the lack of professional integrity towards your own work and product in this particular case. I'm completely blow away by the lack of interest in delivering a stellar product for your paying fans and costumers - especially as this requires so little for you in order to fix such a game breaking problem. 

I truly hope that you'll wake up soon and have this done before February. At least, about half of the game's lifespan will have a proper career mode, where most is actually good, Besides this nonsense.

Any development news on this front? 

I have a career mode team itching to get to free kick, curve and penalty training sessions.

Also, with reference to my previous posts in this thread, I hope that these training sessions won't be reserved for a few select player positions only (such as offensive midfielders or strikers). Defensive midfielders, centre-backs and full-backs can also function as playmakers in a team, where curve is a pretty good stat for the deeplying creative minds' long range passing, crossing and free kicks.

The development team can spend endless time making small in-game tweaks and adjustments in an endless loop, but can't spend five minutes on this?

FC 26 released and this STILL has not been fixed. What the hell?

I'm as furious as you are, mate. I created a new thread in the FC26 feedback forum, linking to this one.

Won't be purchasing the new game, until they fix this.

It's genuinely embarrassing.

I'd stay well clear until at least after Christmas, if at all this year - the career mode is broken. Not sure if you've seen the threads regarding contracts -  I've lost a third of my squad through this bug, into my third season (around the time players look for renewals). As soon as a player asks for a new contract, it puts them on the transfer list. Then, you negotiate a new contract. The game then doesn't recognise this has been done, and the players are still nagging for a new contract. The game doesn't allow you to address, as you've "recently negotiated a new contract". Eventually, bids come in and you have no autonomy over them, as the "Assistant manager" is now handling the matter. 

It's more than broken. It's an aberration.
