Toxic Players

To the EA SPORTS FC Development Team,

As a passionate FC25 player, particularly in Clubs and Rush modes, I’d like to bring up a recurring issue that many in the community have experienced—and suggest a practical solution for FC26.

Far too often, we encounter players who completely disregard teamwork: they refuse to pass the ball, perform meaningless dribbles, and repeatedly lose possession. This not only ruins the experience for those who value team play, but also wastes the collective effort of everyone involved.

To address this problem, I propose the introduction of a “Vote-to-Remove” or “Vote-to-Report” system in FC26. This system would allow teammates to initiate a vote when a player is clearly engaging in unsportsmanlike behavior. If the vote reaches a certain threshold (e.g. 4 out of 5 players), the following actions could be considered:

A warning message is sent to the disruptive player,

The player is replaced by an AI-controlled teammate,

Or a short matchmaking ban is issued after the match.

Such a system would:

Encourage responsible gameplay and cooperation,

Deter toxic or troll-like behavior,

Enhance the overall quality and fairness of the game.

I truly believe this feature would align perfectly with the values of the EA SPORTS FC community—centered around realism, teamwork, and fair competition.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,
Shartas7

  • Doesn't help the fact they lose the ball 100 times, call for the ball all game lose the ball 90% of the time, tap one in from 2 yards and get a 9 rating. They think they are awesome and this how you should play the fault lies with EA making them feel good no matter what they do in the hope they'll buy a few packs on ultimate team

"To be honest, it's not just on EA — the behavior of the player base also plays a huge role here. Some players use unsportsmanlike tactics to gain an advantage, and unfortunately the current system often ends up rewarding that.

What if we had a system where players could rate each other after the match? Like a ‘Sportsmanship Score’. Players who don’t time waste, don’t provoke, and show fair play could get positive ratings from their opponents.

This would promote better community vibes and help reduce the reward loop for toxic behavior.
What do you guys think — could something like this actually work?"

I would have dynamic rating system that gives true representation of your skill so if you play your first game and get a 7.8 you are a 78 rated player next game you average a 4.5 your rating would drop to around 62 keep playing well you would be averaging 80-90s anyone messing around losing the ball not staying in position would have a rating of 30-50s, Embarrassing for them and wouldn't get chosen by teams.

Your rating would be on passing accuracy, tackles, keeping possession, keeping position, assists and scoring with crossing and shooting set to manual. You have to manually tackle why not the other side pressing circle/B and letting Ea put it on target for you is not only the most boring way to play football but essentially EA decides whether you score or not.

Finishing stats are no longer needed so the physical stats like shot power, curve would be meta, pace would be no issues so you could be fast but have to manually get that cross/shot correct.

Drop ins should be called scouting, you drop in and the game starts as a quarter final it takes an average of the players playing and splits into a balanced game with the dynamic rating system. Win the game and you and your new team mates advanced to another game the semi final and then hopefully the final. Skill points are awarded the more you advance the rounds the more you get with maybe extra for player of the tournament. You can send a transfer request to any player you like to join your club you've seen them in action on your team and can see whether they are right for your club. Your name plate should give a indication whether you are a available for transfer.

Red blocks requests(mainly for managers or happy at club)

Yellow indicates that your at a club but welcome any new requests

    Green come get me

Clubs should be a 38 game season with dynamic rating on both to have balanced games and as you all improve your league opponents get better

At the end of the day you would be playing with like minded players and the players who are toxic would have a lower dynamic rating so you wouldn't match with them they would however match with other toxic players with a taste of their own medicine lol 😆
