I am also struggling with the same problem, I find myself not playing sometimes because my bosses will see I'm online. I see no one responded, not even EA is saying anything of which it's truly sad the way they can ignore you.
This is problematic as it takes away the freedom to play without people sending you endless invites, I am disappointed in whoever came with the idea. Please don't make our gaming experience a social media platform, we just want to play with no interruptions
