It's a dam shame
It's a dam shame that EA don't listen to people's opinions. The fact that the game has a reduced price on it already says it all. And once again they wonder why. Let me tell you why it is the same play over and over and over and over again. Pass the ball out wide then come back to the middle because it's the easy way to score period or run around the box like a spinning ballerina and the fact is if that's the only way online players can score then in my opinion your not very good at the game. Is this really a 2026 football game no. This is like a pro Evo game back in the day which was called international superstar soccer where the only way you could only score was down the middle( and before anyone says anything about it i can play the game I can yes I'm not very good at defending). But at least I try and be different at least I try and cross the ball hoping I get my head on a cross. Yes at least I try and shoot from outside the box. The one thing I have noticed playing people online is that once I stop playing because I'm sick of the same thing. They then start to cross they then start trying to shoot from outside the box. Dam shame EA your pros have ruined the game once again by showing people the easier way to score and if you all get enjoyment out of that then you really don't know how good it feels to score a 30 yard goal or get your head onto a cross with a header. Only ture football playing fans like me understand this.
EAFC25 is genuinely the worst FIFA game ever on release
FIFA/FC games have always been buggy messes on release. The player base gets annoyed then moves on as things are slowly patched over a year but this is genuinely the worst experience I have ever had with a new FIFA. I’ve played every game since FIFA 12 and I’ve never felt genuinely scammed out of money this way. Both in terms of bugs, but also active choices/features that are so, so, so much worse than ever. Bugs: Career Mode: Horrific Menu lag All menu items other than match-related options disappearing on matchday Random crashing requiring restart Incorrect player valuation advice I.e ‘we think this player is worth 40-60m’ - make a 55m offer, rejected outright Genuinely, absolutely, ludicrously insane looking youth players New UI is just genuinely terrible and inaccessible, not a bug, just a bad new feature No player OVR development shown on squad hub AI kit selections clash more than ever making differences between you and opposition genuinely impossible to tell. UT: Menu lag Random crashing Game disconnected 1-0 up, left in purgatory with a loading screen afterwards indefinitely while it ‘determined a winner’ that then didn’t work and no outcome decided ‘My packs’ crashing and not showing anything more often than not Genuine regression on attacking AI with forwards having seemingly none of the good positional sense they had last year. Bounces at complete random times but always favouring the countering side (both me and opponents) in incredibly contrived ways. Jockey+second man press inputs lick your defender in place indefinitely Passing power seemingly completely randomised I genuinely feel robbed. I’ve never quit playing a new release this soon. I spend 90% of my time playing career mode, and it feels legitimately pointless to build for the future (the whole point of the game mode) when I know I’ll be playing with a team of people with no chins, lips like the Rolling Stones symbol, and eyebrows like the McDonald’s logo. I feel bad for the game devs that were clearly given 15 minutes and a packet of crisps to crank this out. I’m appalled and EA should be genuinely ashamed.
Captain select fixture suggestion
I have been thinking about something ea could add for the next games career mode. I don’t like that when you have chosen a captain and he gets subbed out a random player gets it. So my suggestion is that you can select 1-5th captain like they do in real life so when number 1 gets sub it’s changes to the one next in line and so on. If not any of the 5 players is on field I guess a random would be fine. The 1-5 captain pick would be a realistic and fun team management fixture. When lifting the trophy the number one captain comes back and lifts it if is part of the squad even when subbed again makes it more realistic. What do people think?
Players ONLY Taking Long Shots After Update — Is This a New FC25 Bug?
I’ve been running a long-term Manager Mode save where I took Bromley all the way up to the Premier League, growing the squad to around £275m within four seasons. Before the latest update, my team played great football — strong defensively, and consistently high-scoring even though I fully simulate matches. After returning from a short break and installing the most recent update, something feels very off with how my attackers behave. My strikers and CAMs are now taking long-range shots almost every time they get near the box, even when there are clear passing options in front of them. Almost all of these shots go straight to the goalkeeper. I’ve tried everything I can think of — different formations, role combinations, tactical presets, and even custom tactics, changed players — but the issue doesn’t go away. This wasn’t happening before the update, and it’s made my save impossible to continue... which is heartbreaking. Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround? Is this EAs notorious bad dealings to push me to buy FC26 (which I did and now I need a shower).
Missing 9000 SP! " Hourly Limit Reached" bug prevents Season completion.
Hello everyone, I need the community's help to get EA's attention on a severe and widespread bug affecting the Season Pass progression. I have completed ALL currently available Season Pass Objectives that reward Skill Points (SP). However, over the last few days, I have repeatedly encountered the frustrating "Hourly SP Limit Reached" error message upon objective completion. The critical issue is this: The system is failing to award the SP when this hidden limit is reached. I have lost approximately 9000 SP in total due to this bug. Because I have completed every single objective, I now have NO way to earn the missing 9000 SP, which means I CANNOT reach the final tier and fully complete the current Season Pass. This is incredibly frustrating. There is absolutely NO warning about an "hourly limit" before we start grinding these objectives. If I had known, I would have paced myself differently. To EA Support (If you are reading this): This is not an isolated incident. I have seen multiple posts from other players reporting the exact same "Hourly SP Limit Reached" error and the loss of thousands of SP. This confirms the bug is widespread and severely impacting the entire community's ability to complete the Season. I urge everyone else experiencing this bug to please comment below with your platform and the approximate amount of SP you lost! We need to make enough noise so that EA urgently investigates this core system bug and manually credits the missing SP to all affected players. We put in the time; we deserve the rewards. Hello, I am experiencing a serious issue in EA Sports FC 25 during the Season Finale. I am unable to collect all the SP required to win the "One season, wonderful! Fully complete and unlock all levels in a Season Pass". A daily limit suddenly appeared without any prior notice, and I wasn’t aware of it. Afterwards, there was also an hourly limit, which again I didn’t know about. On the very first day there was no such restriction, so it was very strange that I first reached the daily limit and then the hourly limit. Could you please assist me in resolving this? A lot of times while playing in any mode. My attackers are prompted to shoot but instead. They pass. This happens despite setting my control settings for B to shoot, A to pass, etc. A friend of mine thought my controller might have been faulty. So to test the theory. I went ahead and acquired a new controller. However, the problem still persisted. It was a pointless purchase. This occurs mostly when the I'm losing and need a crucial goal. However, it doesn't happen all the time even though it may suddenly sometimes while I'm winning. It is very annoying. I've been playing FIFA/EA football since 1998. As such, I'm at least at a professional or world class level. So the very basics such as; checking my settings, hitting the right buttons ia far from new to me. These weird occurrences transpire mostly in any mode i play. Whether it be online friendlies, squad battles or rivals. It tends to happen more often when I'm close to acquiring a reward. Often when moving up to a higher division. As I've mentioned to an EA representative before being led to make this post. I am on the brink of giving up on this game. Not only for this particular problem I've chosen to discuss on this post. But there's a multitude of issues with game play that is quite off putting. I've tried everything, including removing cross play. Below are attachments that provide proof. Please address this issue or fix my account. Thanks.
Input Lag
I play on PC and since the last update(I'm not a 100% certain but i think it is) my gameplay both offline and online have become virtually unplayable. Whenever I'm in game be it menu's or in matches my controller and basically every input device stops responding for about 15 to 50 seconds or just severely lags but not the video just the input devices and if I'm able to find a way to pause the game I can see it kind of like palying catch-up with the highlights as if I was on 200-300 ping mind you I average at 22-25ms, this has really hindered my ability to play most matches, I could be leading by four goals only to completely lose that lead and the match or get timed out for inactivity because my devices stopped responding. It has also hindered my ability to complete objectives like the football fanatics week 1 meaning I can't even earn the reward for completing both objectives and even in champs not get over 5 wins, (you can check my match scores since the update, if you can see the times at which i score and then lose my lead and then the game you could verify what I'm saying). At first I thought it was my ping or my ps4 controller that I'm using over bluetooth because if i use USB and it disconnects I can't use it again until I restart the game which is not a thing I can keep doing over and over because it will definitely disconnect again, but It isn't, because in menu's or gameplay when it happens I quickly switch to the desktop and test out my input devices and they work fine mouse. keyboard, controller all fine but when I switch back still unresponsive. I put too much time into this game to be getting problem after problem everytime. I can't afford a console from my country because it costs an arm and a leg so please fix this issue. PS. Poor gameplay!! my players keep passing directly to opponent players regardless of my input. I do not understand why the basic commands that allows us to have a fulfilling gameplay keep failing.players do not tackle at all, they tackle towards the wrong direction or tackle with the least favourable foot to win the ball. We spend a good amount of time playing your game only to lose because simple game mechanics constantly fail. FIX YOUR GAME!!!!
EA FC 25 is definitely the worst game in history
I didn’t want to buy this game — I knew it was going to be a disaster. But like any fan of the series, curiosity got the better of me, so I bought it. Still, I couldn’t bring myself to play more than a few matches. The campaign mode is a complete disaster, and it honestly feels like it was designed that way on purpose, just to push everyone toward online play. There’s no way to defend properly, and everything seems geared toward one goal: forcing us into the online mode. On top of that, there's the whole politically correct angle — where(probabily) they’re trying to make it so that even people with disabilities — like missing limbs — can score goals in the most popular football game on the planet! The gameplay is a mess — passing doesn’t work, attacking AI is completely broken, and manual defending isn’t just ineffective, it’s actively punished. Add in the endless bounce backs, and the experience quickly becomes unbearable. The menus? Well, if the gameplay is bad, at least the menus should make up for it, right? Wrong. The menus barely function. Constant freezing, display glitches, and an absurd increase in the number of clicks just to view your picks — all of it adds up to a terrible user experience. Co-op is broken too. Let’s say you somehow overlook all the above issues and just want to enjoy some time with your friend in what used to be the best mode in FUT. Guess what? You’d better hope you’re not the away team — otherwise, you’ll get hit with an instant forfeit within five seconds of kickoff. And it’s not about skill — I actually wish it was just that. Back in 2009, I was actually one of the top players in the series on Xbox. But nowadays, year after year, the defensive system keeps getting butchered in favor of the offensive side — as if, in the minds of these developers, football is only exciting when attacking, not defending. Then again, maybe it makes sense… after all, goalkeepers never win the Ballon d’Or. I’m a longtime fan of the series. My first “FIFA” was back in 1997, and it was FIFA 96. Since then, I’ve played nearly every title in the franchise. And I’ll be honest — while the series has had its highs and lows, and some entries were even considered terrible, in all my years as a FIFA fan, I have never uninstalled a FIFA/FC game this quickly. Usually, even with the weaker titles, I’d stick with them for a while — sometimes months. But this one? I picked it up, played 10–15 matches, and uninstalled it with deep regret.
