99 pace useless against AI

Haha Darko you’re just too funny. Look up the phrase intellectually honest. I’ve seen Left wingers more intellectually honest. 

Anyway, to ur post. Players are slower with the ball than without and there’s no fault in that. So slow defenders will sometimes catch u even if u have 99 pace. 

The reason I joked about Darko is that he knows the fact I’m about to tell u: 

The difference between 99 pace and 1 pace is actually VERY small. I’ve done tests. The difference is less than 10%. EA made it that way because otherwise it would be hard to defend against 99 pace. And skilled players would more easily dominate, leading to a bigger skill gap (which is EAs main priority to keep down). 

EA is terrified about making a game where u actually can beat defenders in 1v1 situations (I’m not talking about some skill moves in the box where u fool the defender because he’s in dire straights and has to commit. I’m talking about actually taking on defenders head on and saying “hey, I’m gonna beat/dribble u” and then doing it) This has been almost impossible (if u play a semi-decent opponent) and never worth the risk for the last 10 years. Why? Because if it was effective the game would revolve around beating defenders in 1v1. And that aspect has a HUGE skill gap. It involves a lot of complex hand-eye coordination and reactions (Kinda like tekken) and would result in a game with a HUGE skill gap. Not to EAs liking. 

And lastly, about your advise to look up the pros Darko; if u watch a pro fc-match, players NEVER take on defenders 1v1. It’s just too risky and not worth it. Better to circle the ball around if ur on the flank and look for stupid AI marking u can exploit (which involves a lot of RNG).  Just like u intended.
