Hi EA, There is a serious problem with AFK players in RUSH who are clearly there to collect the points for the rewards. This is ruining the game experience for others who want to play. It is impossible to play 2 v 4 with your two team mates spinning round in circles in the opposition's half. Not only do they do nothing, they can be offside if the ball goes forward. If you can detect and kick people for non activity then this needs to be in RUSH asap or you need to give the option for vote to kick AFK players - I get that people rubber banding might bypass the system but surely someone can code for repetitive movement too?? It's utterly ruining the whole point of RUSH which should be an exciting new mode.

Do something against those that join rush matches and lock their controller and don't play ( AFK ) ! They destroy other players matches ! If is not right ! EA do SOMETHING and implement something to kick them more faster out from the match or give them temporally ban. Yesterday i played over 30 matches and in more than 15 were at least 1 afk player. It is easy to solve. Put a rule like,you need to give at least 10 passes and have 5 shots so you can receive the xp after the match. Almost all of them are afk from the begin after the referee wistle.It is hard to win a match when a player is afk. Forum admin please redirect my thread to the staff team that is responsable for the pro club ( rush ) section.

It's a joke no way to report them every other game has at least 1afk player should be a way to vote to kick

Should be the best, unfortunately ea have allowed it to be as toxic as every other mode. The fact they can’t even programme it to collect the right assists if use a rush player in the mode. The response from the mod seemed like a generic copy and paste customer service attempt. I can’t see them changing it as deep down it won’t affect their revenue stream

Rush is a great mode, I really enjoy it and doing evos in it. However, the AFK players are really ruining it. I reported a few players as cheaters and for unsportsman like conduct on xbox, but I dont think anything will be done. It really hurts the game because sometimes that person not playing keeps the other team always onside. It also is starting to get more frequent. Almost every other game there is at least one player not playing on one of the teams. maybe the answer is if a player has not taken a certain action like pass, tackle, or shoot with the ball within 20 or 30 seconds they get booted.

I've played two matches so far today and both times I've been put in 2vs4 matches because of people going AFK, I can't even start completing the evo because I need to win one match with my CB, but there's too many people just downing their pad

It's not even that hard to fix, have an safe area inside the pitch, if you're off the pitch for X amount of time you're kicked. If you're stood still regardless of holding LB/RS you're kicked. But this is a company that can't have evo's for goalkeepers or improve GK composure because they don't know how to code them.

@SaiyajinK I don’t think we heard they were fixing afk before. This patch actually addressed afk in the notes. Unless I missed it in another patch.

For the fist time in years EA listen to us. It’s not perfect but with the new update I can see a change. AFK players in idle are getting kick out pretty quick now. Thanks EA listen to us. More often than not big companies don’t listen to the people. ITS SMALL STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. W EA.

Yeah.. the idle ones aren't the problem. You can steer AI, it's harder..but works.
The AFK that are lazy but want the points, they keep themselves active. Most of the time they walk back into your own goal so you can't play offside which is so important in Rush.. those are hard for EA to fix.

@RobinScores This is what I am thinking it will catch a lot afk but not the ones who are moving and hitting buttons but not playing. You probably won’t be able to stop those ones. I suppose it’s better than nothing.
