AI borked again

So, starting EA FC 25 - I play Player Career - the CPU AI was rubbish, but the first update or two seemed to fix the controller lag and for the first time in years (maybe ever) the opposition and teammate AI was realistic and reasonable.

I play at Legendary (used to be Ultimate but that vanished for Player Career) and traditionally the AI can only challenge you by making your team useless, regardless of their stats or position. Every third game was a 4-0 defeat, 5-4 if you had the temerity to score 4 yourself. This stopped happening and I had a good time for the first 60 hours. 

Then, the last update (the 8gb one) changed everything. My team (7 points clear at the top of the EPL) can't keep the ball, pass or tackle and the opposition (Wolves, Brighton) became untouchable and magical (the ball always falls for them in the box until they score). I thought it was just a scripted rut but I'm playing Stockport in the cup and they're faster than my 99 acceleration / 99 sprint striker. They make no mistakes. They are never tackled. They score like Messi. Stockport. It's EVERY game. Every one.

It's not even a challenge to claw back into games because your score is likewise nerfed. You get marked down for everything, including mistakes by your teammates, and you get subbed off before you can make a difference. I'm not playing worse, I'm doing the same things.

I'm uninstalling until this gets fixed. It's tedious and frustrating and you'd already fixed it. You just broke it again, and worse.

I know you don't care about Player Career, but you could have left it alone.
