Clubs hacks?

Just had a game of clubs against a 2 man, i know the AI are usually about as useful as a chocolate teapot because EA put in about as much effort into clubs as Coca Cola put into fighting diabetes.. 

But every time our AI had the ball they would amble forward toward the other teams goal, if we called it they'd do nothing, not even that awkward turn they usually do before they make a pass.. they genuinely jogged towards the other team goal.. even from our box from a goal kick.

It got to the point where I was saying nobody press anything see what they do, and they would just jog with the ball in a straight line and not do anything, not even pass it amongst themselves, like amateur difficulty on career. 

Noticed if the RB/LB had the ball they jog toward the middle of the half they were in, then turn and jog slowly toward the other teams goal. 

Anyone else had this?
