The birth year range for crated players has not been updated in several years. The range has been 1980 - 2005 since at least FIFA 22. This means I cannot create a player younger than 18 (turning 19 halfway through season), with the upper age limit now 45. This makes no sense. I cannot create a wunderkind, but I can create a player who should have retired a decade ago?

This is an absolute joke. Seems like it will be the same for FC26. Not only can we not play with many of the biggest prospects in world football (in a time where we see an increase of really young players among the top clubs and even among the world’s best), but on top of that we don’t even have the possibility to create them ourselves. The fact that 2005 has been the upper limit since FIFA 22 is absurd and the least thing EA could do is update the birth range. This is one of the worst (and easy to fix) issues with the latest games, and I know several people who don’t buy the game because of this. I also can’t believe this problem is not stressed more frequently.
This ruins the creative immersion part of the game.
