Disconnect During FUT Champs - Request for Compensation and Better Support
I just had a really frustrating experience in FUT Champs. I was winning 2-1 at the 60th minute, and out of nowhere, I got disconnected. Before anyone suggests otherwise, my PS5 is connected via Ethernet, and everything else on my network was fine—I checked right after. I could even log back into EA servers immediately, so it clearly wasn’t an issue on my end.
The part that really annoyed me is the support. I contacted EA Live Chat, hoping for some resolution or at least acknowledgment of the issue, but all they told me was, "We can’t do anything about it. Post on the forums." So, here I am.
I’m wondering if there’s any possibility for compensation? This year, every single win in FUT Champs feels so important because of how tight the rewards system is. Losing that game unfairly really sets me back. Plus, gameplay-wise, FUT Champs is already a grind with the state of the servers and the meta this year, so it stings even more.
What’s even worse is the lack of engagement from EA’s side. A few years ago, community managers were actually active on Twitter and other platforms, addressing concerns and making us feel heard. Now? It feels like the focus is only on adding more packs to the store while ignoring core issues like server stability and player support.
Does anyone know if EA ever compensates for issues like this? Or is it just a "tough luck" situation? Either way, I think it’s time EA starts listening to the community again because this kind of experience is driving people away.
