Hey FC Fans,
We recently released new Pitch Notes related to the EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Launch Update. Here is a recap of the information shared.
Web App Access:
- Web App Launch date: September 18th.
- Companion App Launch Date: September 19th.
Early Access to EA SPORTS FC™ 25:
- Early Access Launch for Console: September 20th at Midnight (Local Time)
- Early Access Launch for PC: September 20th at 5 AM (BST).
- Same date/time will apply for EA Play (10-hours Trial) and EA Play Pro members.
FC SEASON 1: Total Rush
- You can collect Season Points (SP) from different modes (Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs)
- Every mode will have exclusive objectives you can complete to get SP.
- The Season pass will include rewards for all the game modes.
- World Tour Objectives: Each Season, we’ll have objectives and special items about a specific nation. The first one will be Spain.
- Chemistry Boost: Squad Foundation Players will provide +2 League Chemistry points.
Mode & Rewards changes:
- Champions Playoffs
- Games reduced from 10 to 5.
- You'll need 3 out of 5 wins to qualify for the finals.
- Champions Finals
- Games reduced from 20 to 15.Ranks:
- Rank 1: 15 wins | 15 Points
- Rank 2: 13 wins | 13 Points
- Rank 3: 11 wins | 11 Points
- Rank 4: 10 wins | 10 Points
- Rank 5: 9 wins | 9 Points
- Rank 6: 8 wins | 8 Points
- Rank 7: 7 wins | 7 Points
- Rank 8: 6 wins | 6 Points
- Rank 9: 4 wins | 4 Points
- Rank 10: 2 wins | 2 Points
- Games reduced from 20 to 15.Ranks:
Better Rewards
As an example, these are the rewards you will get if you reach Rank 1:
- 200,000 Ultimate Team Coins
- Tradeable 85+ x10 Players Pack
- Tradeable 84+ x10 Players Pack
- Untradable Base Icon Pack
- Untradable 89+ x2 Players Pack
- Untradable 82+ x30 Players Pack
- Three Tradeable TOTW x3 Players Pack
DIVISION RIVALS
- Changed to "Points System" (Win = 3 Points; Draw = 1 Point; Lose = 0 Points);
- Points needed to get Weekly Rewards: 15.
- Points needed for Upgraded Weekly Rewards: 45.
- Removed the 3 Options reward. There will be one reward option. It will include Ultimate Team Coins, tradeable and untradeable rewards.
Better Rewards
As an example, these are the Upgraded Weekly Rewards In Elite Division:
- 75,000 Ultimate Team Coins
- Two Tradeable 85+ Player Picks (Pick 1 of 4)
- Untradeable 75 Gold Rare Players Pack
- Tradeable 50 Gold Rare Players Pack
- Tradeable Mega Pack
- Two Untradeable 83+ TOTW Player Packs
Squad Battles
- Reduced the games counted for the weekly rank from 32 to 14.
Live Friendlies
- Matchmaking based on form (excluding House Rules), similar to Champions system.
- Match lost after a quit/disconnection won't affect how the form is calculated.
Evolutions
- Added a Maximum Boost Limit to the upgrade of specific stats.
- Example: if an evolution gives +10 pace to a player, with the requirement max 92 pace and max limit set to 92 pace, you will be able to use any player with 92 pace or lower, knowing that they could get a boost to their pace up to 92 depending to their current stats.
ICONs

New ICONs: added Nadine Angerer, Gareth Bale, Gianluigi Buffon, Julie Foudy, Aya Miyama, Marinette Pichon, Lotta Schelin & Lilian Thuram to the Class of 25 ICONs.
- In Career Mode throughout the year, you’ll be able to start your Player Career with a rotating selection of icons, starting with Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo, Van Nistelrooy, and Kelly Smith.
- If you pre-order* the Standard or Ultimate Edition, you’ll also unlock Galácticos Beckham, Zidane, and Ronaldo Nazário.
Heroes
- New Heroes: Jamie Carragher, Laura Georges, Guti, Marek Hamšík, Eden Hazard, Tim Howard, Maicon, Blaise Matuidi, Mohammed Noor, Célia Šašić, Jaap Stam, Fara Williams & Ze Roberto will be reimagined as Heroes.
- If you preordered The EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Ultimate Edition before 20 August, you will receive an Origin Hero version of 1 of the 14 new or existing Heroes when you log in to FC 25. In Late November, your Hero will be upgraded to the Prime Hero with new Attributes.
Items
- Average Transfer Market Price: Added the AVG transfer market price in the 5th player view.
- Multiple versions of Players in Packs:
- When we add a special Item, we remove their base (bronze/silver/gold) version from packs.
- There might be multiple special versions of a single player in packs at once.
Club Membership
- You will receive rewards for playing consecutive EA SPORTS FC™ from launch.
- FC Founders will also unlock customization rewards in Ultimate Team 25
- To be eligible for Club Membership, you must have played FC 24 before 27 September 2024 and FC 25 before 1 November 2024*.
EA Play Membership
- Monthly rewards with a selection of Ultimate Team Loan Player Items and Draft Tokens for EA Play Members.
Pre-Season & EURO rewards
- Pre-season carryover will be available from October, 10th.
- Complete and claim all rewards from the European Journey to receive an untradeable 82+ x2 Player Pack for FC 25 Ultimate Team starting October, 10th.
