Actually: if u mod this game by yourself by sliders and editing player stats (make them worse in almost every aspect) and play manual settings. This is actually a really good football simulator.
That’s being said, the online default version is just laughable; it doesn’t resemble football at all and it’s just a RNG fiesta.
The sliders don't change online modes like Rivals, Champs or Squad Battles they only effect 1 player game modes in Player / Manager Career, Friendlies against CPU etc.

No *! It affects couch play with friends. And I’m glad ea hasn’t removed the possibility to couch-play offline with friends. They probably will in next editions though as it distracts from their money-makers.
