There is no smoothness to this game at the moment, the input delay on console and the ai actions/animations are just ridiculous I've never seen a Fifa/FC game be like this, all my players feel heavy and unresponsive to when im playing, something needs to be done. Because alot of people are already leaving/quitting due to this and they will soon switch when a better football game option is out there to play. I have saved clips on my console as im sure alot of people have so you will know exactly what the issues are, im just a regular guy who works mon-fri and when i do get the chance i love playing the game but then i play a couple of games and i come off feeling frustrated and angry because its becoming impossible to play at the moment. Please do something EA.

@lansenyl yeahh the game is unplayble , Attacking AI sucks , all u need to do in defense is to stop playing, the AI will get you the ball back, really bad gameplay , it's getting worse and worse every year

All I can say is that based on my experience in NA on Xbox S/X and PS5 I have more delay at 1pm than I would at 1am. I do everything I can to ensure a stable connection while gaming no matter the time of day. I notice this when I'm playing FUT, Career, Clubs and Seasons. From what I can tell This happens on PC much less. Maybe that could be from the amount of people on that platform or the hardware running the game. As for offline I have always been an avid career mode player ever since FIFA 09 and it even got me interested in trying the FM series. The offline gameplay in recent years has definitely matched whatever is happening in the gameplay online right down to delay in the commands and the random bounces that keep happening until I concede. Experiencing these issues are what forced me to give up and not buy the game.

@RadioShaqs I obviously don't speak for everyone when it comes to the servers and the gameplay, and I can only judge what I'm able to see and play myself.I can only assume that distance to a server is a factor.The data for this could easily come from a simple survey sent out to an equal amount of players in the general location of a server and players that live a considerable distance from their nearest server. This test should also be done for each region and not the player base as a whole.This is probably the best way to find out if the servers are a part of the problem.I also believe that the Frostbite game engine is a big problem. The game just hasn't felt right ever since they started using it.

@lansenylThis game fundamentally broken. And it comes from the way defense is set up, EA's ideology around defense.It dawned on me today that there are so many penalties for attacking, from passing to first touch to extremely slow animations when you try to forwards with the ball at your feet, being dragged away from the ball in a half-circle by some force, players running away from loose balls in the box, you running past forwards or forwards sprinting backwards, attackers purposely drifting offside even when it makes no sense why they did that etc. What EA would call "realism". However none of that "realism" applies to the defensive side of the game.The defense is routinely pulled towards the ball, they run directly onto the ball often faster than the fastest attackers, they sprint full speed from every angle and put in perfect tackles, sometimes they can even miss the ball and not give away penalties, freeze in front of you when you tackle them and knock you over, run into you, stamina has ZERO effect on them, spamming non stop tackles & recovering instantly etc.I've mentioned this before even some of the most common goals stem from defensive actions some weak forward bulldozing a CDM, Fullback or CB.

Some smaller creators and their gameplay.
Clear and irrefutable evidence of result and game manipulation but EA 'do not and never have' scripted games.
They must think everyone playing their game is stupid. Which, tbf, wouldn't be far wrong considering we still buy the game knowing full well this is what they do. I can't wait til this Monopoly is over.

@f997e3deb5f28651 The same issue occurs in most of the commands. I think in order to fix anything they'll have to go back a couple of years or start completely fresh on an entirely new game engine made specifically for the EA Sports titles.

Another excellent upload from Dangal Diagonal's channel.
Fifa 15 being 10 years ago is crazy to think about. As much as that game frustrated me it really was so much better than what we've gotten lately.

Over the last 10 years the game has obviously improved in all departments and there's a clear attempt to give the current players what they're asking for. It would be commendable if this studio wasn't as experienced and as well equipped as it is.
There are too many posts being put up and then being removed for conspiracy and misinformation when the evidence is right infront of you when you play the game or watch it online. I'm not saying this happens to everyone but it might be time to give it the same attention you gave it in the past.
The game generally is not fun and not fair.

The game is finished. It's broken and don't see them fixing it. Jump on COD it's much better and actually fun to play. EA are finished with football tbh.

no matter what players you have they play like * doenst make runs when you trigger them or they are constantly offiside because you press pass and its delayed and oponent is playing like prime barca everything is smooth , and you cant even tackle when you tackle ball just go straight throught your feet, goalkeepers dont need to even exist cant remember last time they do something for me every shot is in goal what is a point to having them, nonsense penalties where you dont even press anything and its faul , this game is pile of * nothing else , worst mistake i made to come back to this * and even spend money on that
