Don't listen to all these others saying the update is good....which is not.
All it did was make it into a counterattack game with zero skill. These posters are likely.EA accounts trying to gaslight you.
The game is basically a back and forth with overpowered dribbling and non existent defensive players who literally just stare at the players and ball go by them . Goalkeeper literally turning their backs on finesse shots and let's not forget the scripting.
All they want to do is sell packs to satisfy the players that can't do anything without OP dribbling and speed
Was playing world class and was a grind. Losing some, winning some but needing full focus in every game.
Had to increase difficulty to legendary after the update and attacking still feels overpowered and lifeless. Every shot ends up in the corner, through balls seem scripted and almost seems to isolate the defender in his spot, passing is ping pong again, turns seem unrealistic, player movement at times defies biomechanics. Adjusting sliders to make it realistic seems to make some games in career mode erratic in relation to first touch, speed, animations etc all seem glitchy and broken.
It wasn't perfect before but enjoyed it more than this overpowered attacking, arcade * fest with ridiculous scorelines. Scoring goals is too easy and when it should require patience, effort and skill.
