Game play unrealistic and chaotic

How has the FIFA/FC game play taken so many steps backward.  The gameplay has turned the game into a pure button-smashing soccer/football sim. At World Class, the AI is shooting from anywhere between the penalty box and center-circle. Rushing your player with 4-5 opposition players after such a shot, stealing the ball, and then shooting again. Over and over and over again. Which televised or in-person match has anyone seen repeatedly played like this 🤷🏾‍♂️. It's the worst version of the game I have played since I first played FIFA 98.  Added to this arcade-style play, the AI is completing physically inhuman tackles and saves. Do better, EA , so much potential in this game, but you wasted it.
