Generic players name edition in career mode manager

Dear EA Sports Team,

I am writing to address a critical concern regarding EA FC 25’s Manager Career Mode: the inability to edit the names of youth academy players and generated players. This issue has persisted for years, and it is time for the community's long-standing request to be addressed.

The current system for generating player names frequently produces unrealistic and immersion-breaking results. It is jarring, for example, to see Uruguayan or Argentine players with names such as Unai, Jordi, Pepe, or Iker—names that are culturally out of place. Or for ukranian players, everyone with surname Shevchuk, or for hungarian players, everyone with surname Kiss. Likewise, the lack of diversity in African surnames, with an overreliance on names like Hassan or Said, creates a generic and repetitive experience. These inconsistencies significantly detract from the authenticity and enjoyment of Career Mode.

The solution to this issue I consider is simple: enabling the editing of four specific fields—first name, surname, nickname, and jersey name. This adjustment would allow players to correct themselves inaccuracies and personalize their experience, enhancing immersion while requiring minimal development effort.

Given the straightforward nature of this proposal, I respectfully urge EA Sports to implement it as a *current* update for EA FC 25, rather than deferring it to the next installment of the series. The community has waited far too long for this functionality, and addressing it now would demonstrate that EA Sports values and listens to its player base.

However, ignoring this reasonable request, especially given its feasibility, could be perceived as a lack of interest in the concerns of your community. This perception would inevitably harm the trust and loyalty of many players, myself included, toward the franchise. After years of waiting for improvements to Career Mode, such disregard might lead players to question their continued support for future EA titles, particularly within this series.

I sincerely hope you EA Sports will consider the importance of this request and take action to implement this much-needed functionality. Doing so would reaffirm your commitment to providing a quality experience for your fans and ensuring the long-term success of the EA FC franchise.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing positive changes that reflect your dedication to the community.
