Heading Broken?

Hi, I’ve had situations while playing pro clubs where if using my pro or AI player when Any the player won’t lock on to the ball to head it  when the cross is coming right to them or even when the opponent lobs it to their teammate, the defender won’t jump at all and sometimes won’t lock on the the ball either in clear moments where before they usually would win them before the patch. I have not had this issue in ultimate team or in regular online or offline modes. Is there a fix for this or is it just the game? Also, I do have assistance on loose and air balls.
