The patch saved this game, I love it. Reminds me of the older Fifas when the gameplay was still fun.
Obviously it’s still far from perfect and many things need to be tweaked, but it’s a step in the right direction.
I’ve played the FIFA series since 02 and FC25 was genuinely the worst game I have ever played, until the update.
I understand it’s not for everyone, but it baffles me how anyone can prefer the snoozefest of pre-patch gameplay, where passing was nonexistent and the AI was defending like prime Maldini.

As I said, to each their own, you may feel like it's a snooze fest to have tighter games and I get that but many were also enjoying these type of games because it resembled a real football game rather than that where scoring is so easy and every team feels like it plays the same because of the unrealistic speed, passing, shooting, dribbling etc.
Tighter games meant more concentration, effort and variation as you couldn't get away with doing the same crap all the time - for me that is boring and unenjoyable.
As I said I get both sides (begrudgingly) which is why I blame EA for not having the option to revert to the previous patch for offline modes for those that want a proper football game.
