I had a conversation with EA help today, seemed rather productive so I'm hopeful. The chat assistant said he has escalated the situation to the people who can help. I think most important thing is to make sure EA is aware of the issue, since the help chat can't provide solutions for this issue.
I contacted their help via email, they told me my issue is fixed with the advice I consult the forums. Obviously, it has not been fixed.
For some reason, I can't get in a chat.

I also contacted ea via mail and I should be fixed says ea. But as expexted they did not fix it.

Not sure if you've figured it out yet, but for some reason if you're signed into your account and you go to resume a case to get back in a chat, the option doesn't appear.
What you wanna do is:
- Go to your emails.
- Find the one that was sent when you opened the case (should have case number and some code for your case).
- Go back to ea help and find where to resume a case but NOT signed in.
- Fill out the necessary info and provide your case number and code (still, don't sign in).
Boom, when you scroll down you'll see the chat button. It's almost like they don't want you to be able to get back in touch...but there's ways around everything😉

I spoke to someone from ea help. And at least he was honest. Hé said they are probably not going to compensate anyone anymore..
