So how it that you get matched up with another player with the same exact team???? LMAO Why don't you make a setting that says DON'T MATCH THE TEAM EXACTLY?? EA is an absolute joke.

I have always noticed that if you have mainly a premier league team you will match against someone else that has mainly a premier league team. Additionally if you have one or two icons you will match against someone that has one or two icons. If you have zero icons you will match against someone with zero icons. I am not saying it always happens, but there is something definitely in match making that takes these things into account. I noticed it more in the beginning of the game than now, because everyone has more variety.
Seconding EA Darko, I respectfully and genuinely don't see the issue with this at all. facing the same team in a match is not really that impactful.

I'm not sure what the issue is with this? Matchmaking takes into consideration a number of factors and as the game is skill based having the same team as the opponent doesn't mean anything beyond a level playing field player wise.
