Bro this so much. My Milinković-Savić is receiving the ball to his feet with his back turned to joe * cole and somehow joe cole with 51 defending and 69 strength and 64 aggresion manages to tackle my savic from behind and out muscle him. It's like the only way you can play is to first time pass because any weak * attacker will just completely body your strong midfielders.
- @Scumbagdary This is precisely what I'm talking about. Stats are more meaningless than they have ever been. That player using Cole isn't thinking "I better switch to a stronger player or hold my position until I can switch to one" because he doesn't have to! There's no thought put into anything you do in this game other than "quick pass!" or "sprint".
- @Scumbagdary Yesterday someone using Neymar sprinted full speed in, missed a wild tackle, recovered instantly turned around and kept button bashing tackle as I'm trying to move forwards with my player and eventually he wrapped his leg around the front of Stamm and took the ball.
- @Tauntmatt There does appear to be no real punishment to anyone spamming tackle, even with the wrong players for a tackle they do recover instantly and keep hounding until the ball is won. The pressure system is broken. AGAIN. EA never learn.
This game is groundhog day each year. By the end of the cycle all the OP stuff is usually (mostly) fixed. They then release new one with all the same problems the other one had at the start... trivela anyone?
There has to be more punishment for miss timing a tackle.
I may have thought this game was in better shape than it is. Right now on Next Gen it's pretty appalling and not playing like football at all.- @blue166 New patch nerfed defense and buffed offense again. Tackle animations got nerfed so should help.
