Players don't defend in fc 25 old gen

Same issues you are describing have been occurring on current gen consoles as well, however, unsure if as unplayable on PC devices.

If you use 4-2-3-1 formation with 2 cdms it’s manageable. But for me my left back still doesn’t do * 

Yeah doubt the "amazing" EA team will fix anything this issue has been a part of previous games and it gets worse in every release, have to agree that this year is the worse yet, people have been asking for change with the mechanics for years, but lazy EA just make slight changes in a few codes and rename something so they can release it as a "NEW" game.

.Still have our Ai  players doing nothing

.Runs being blocked by opponent players on purpose

.Passes and crosses are made worse than previous years, as 90% of the time they lock on to opponent players

.Once an opponent player has passed your defence line, you have 0 chance of chasing them because your players will jog instead of sprint

.Having to work extra hard to tackle an opponent player, while they just stick a foot out or barge into your players to win the ball back

.opponent players will keep up with any of your players because your players are forced to slow down on the attacks

.the whole sort of jogging mechanic / animation in this game, I'm pretty sure is added to hide the fact that yours players looked glitchy in previous games when the game forced them to slow down so the opponent Ai could catch up and come and tackle you.

So if anyone has come across this and thought about getting the game..... Don't, if you want to try it go ask a friend to borrow theirs for a week or so firs.

 chances are after that week you will not want the game.

Anyone already found a good way to defend with the non tracking ai on the old gen? I am lost ☹️
