Also, if you have a screenshot of evolution completion, then that would be helpful as well.

I don’t have a screenshot of when I completed the evolution. It cosmetically upgraded but didn’t give the position. It was blue before the evo.

I put the evolution on a 92 rated card with 3 positions, 10 playstyles and 2 playstyle plus.

Despite it fitting perfectly the requirements and in the preview showing that it had the striker position alternative, the final evolution didn’t give my card the position, it only changed the card’s design to shapeshifter evolution.

I want to know if this has happened to anyone else

I had the exact same issue with an evolution I completed 3 days ago. It concerns the Level 6 evolution of Season 8 Pass, which is the CDM + PlayStyles++ evolution. It requires a player with a maximum of 3 positions and adds a 4th position: CDM.

However, after completing the evolution for my player Kyle Hudlin (84 rated) who had ST, LW, and RW positions, the cosmetic evolution was correctly applied, but the new CDM position was not added!

Did anyone find a solution? I try to ask this matter to EA support but they don’t answer and keep forwarding me to ask the community for help but this is a bug on their side. The player should normally have received a fourth CDM position, as shown in the screenshot from my friend who simulated it on his FC Companion app, where you can clearly see that adding up to 4 positions is possible.

Unfortunately, nothing was applied and the evolution I just used is no longer available. Only the cosmetic “Shapeshifters” evolution was applied without the CDM position and PlayStyles++.
