Re: Headers completely dead now?
@1p5psman not to be a downer but Headers have been dead for 3 years now. I have been trying the lofted cross to a really tall ST with heading play styles and stats for 3 years and even if he is alone in the box, it’s either straight at keeper or wide 90% of the time.
This is an example of EA purposely driving a certain kind of meta. They won’t allow for multiple and have certain styles “clash” or cancel each other out. The sad part that is the beauty of sports games and sports in general. If you go all out attack and in play counter with fast strikers, I should be able to pounce on opportunities. If I play strong instead of fast defenders they shouldn’t get bodied by 5 foot women but they do.
The worst one is if you play the wrong side of me when I turn with the ball, or make a bad read I should be able to pursue the space and get clear for goal, but you can’t, the defenders will recover. Instead you have to do a skill move (if it registers) to make a defender really miss and get space which is so far from how things actually happen
