Re: Opponent quitting at a draw should result in a win

I think you underestimate how petty people are. They don't care about finishing friendly games to get easier opponents...

While I recognize that I'm not in the lead when they quit, I think you have to think about why they would quit at a draw. They only do it because they're outplayed and they know their opponents won't be awarded the win. None of them would quit at draws if their opponents were awarded wins.

The incentive to not quit by giving people who do, a loss, has proven to not be enough. I mean, applying your logic, you could argue that they shouldn't be awarded losses since they weren't technically losing. Imo it's about incentive. Awarding wins to opponents of people who quit at draws will really help on the overall toxicity of the player base. And imo it's the most fair outcome of the games if someone feels it necessary to quit at a draw...

@Niller1995 You get to replay it not get the loss. You also have to figure you could be bumping someone out of a spot for pro tournaments or top 200. There is no way to tell why someone quit. They could have dced or something not ever quit is to punish you. That’s not to say people don’t do it but in the end you wasn’t winning.
