Yeah, but what you don't factor in is that they keep changing the gameplay so that the FUT saps spend coins so they can get the new META squad. I.E. currently high pace strikers. Next patch they will make big strikers overpowered and everyone will get those. EA don't care how bad the gameplay is as long as people are spending to get the best squads in FUT.
I don't think a talented and dedicated dev team would make the game quite this bad accidentally. Either the devs are talentless or the choices they have made have been purposeful and for effect.
I think pretty much everyone would opt for rolling back the "updates" but that is why it will never be implemented. You can't play FUT without the latest updates or there would be a mismatch.

I'm not sure how they make it work but I imagine having an option to revert to the previous patch for offline modes might be possible but I might be wrong. That's all that's being asked for to at least have an option for offline modes.
They can adhere to those that continue to fill their pockets which is fine but what they can't do is advertise a game a certain way and then change it after 3 months, collecting the money from those that wanted a proper football game, not this arcady, FIFA Street type football. If they released the game with this unrealistic gameplay, I'm sure a lot would not have bothered. I certainly would not have and judging by the 100s of posts here many others too.
